It's been great entertainment today - and the standard has definitely improved with professionalism.
But it wasn't a drop ball. That was the strangest thing. Was just handed to the keeper to carry as though the ball was live. Surely once the whistle is blown the ball is dead.
The cost per club is not very interesting. We could have our whole first 11 out for a month and it would probably be valued at less than Man City having 2 players miss 1 game. It does show how lucky/good Chelsea were with injuries last year.

Absolutely agree, but there are still numerous technical workarounds to keep the streamers in business a while longer.

Yes please, turn off commentary, what a fantastic idea. Give and option to turn on just crowd noise. It won't happen because the money Sky throw at the Premier League but it's a fans Utopia.
Sky Germany has the option, and I'm sure I remember about fifteen years ago Sky had the option over here - although no doubt stopped the service because the audio was replaced with audio from the phones their Murdoch overlord was hacking...
