We also have Lloris, Vorm, Vertonghen, Rose, Davies, Trippier, Dembele and Lamela plus six or seven talented youngsters as back up (and Sissoko...). Some of the valuations look arguable but all the players who have moved since it was done are in the right ball park.

Conte was having a bit of a go at MP today I see for no big signings. He should just focus on his team rather than others.

 

He's pooping it mate, he feels envious that Poch is allowed to get on with his job at such a high profile place like Spurs and all without the chairman up his arse. Conte knows this makes for a prosperous working relationship.

He wasn't having a go, he was talking about expectations. When was the last time you had those?

 

If we can go a page without him being depicted as the antichrist. Maybe then we wont feel the need to defend him.

 

Looking at the Spurs squad (and I know they had the best defence but they had one of the highest rates of defensive errors) I think they could do with a more commanding goalkeeper. Lloris is often hailed as spectacular but I have my doubts that he's making that back four work for him, Butland would be an improvement in my opinion if he can stay fit after his injury.

I'd also say somebody like Jon Obi Mikel would get them through the psychological barriers they face and fail with so often. As much as I rate Wanyama for his fantastic ability, he's also somewhat of a liability and he's not a true winner or leader.

 

Name a few. Shouldn't be hard since it happens 'so often'.
