I don't see how the logic is that hard to follow. We had 3 'keepers that could be considered at a championship club 1st choice, 2 of them who no one was interested and one who someone was interested in. Yeah Jak may have been the best and on the lowest wages, but if he was the only one another team would buy it made sense to accept the offer and rely on one of Marshall or McGregor to fight it out
last season McGregor was sent out on loan, Marshall was dropped and Jak was deemed the best keeper so you think it's best to lose the best keeper! do you want to get promoted? given the money we are talking about it seems not
