Done thanks. Loved Defoe and enjoyed Bent while he was here but how can you not vote for those 2?

    Defoe and SKP.

Quinny third but how anyone can look past these two is beyond me!!

Phillips and Quinn of course, legends, great players, a partnership which absolutely terrorized defences. Absolute no brainier. They should walk it

Defoe back up to Phillips and Gyan back up to Quinn. I don't think Defoe and Philips would work too well as a Partnership. Quinn and Gyan could play with anyone imo. My top 4 anyway. :)

Cause they'd struggle to play together imo. Certainly not the the most effective combination on offer for me like.

Agreed that they probably wouldn't work well but the thing is, if this whole thing was about what/who would work best as a team I'm sure a lot of people would vote differently.

I've gone for my two favourite/best individual forwards.

    Quinn & Phillips for me.
Best attacking football I've seen as a Sunderland fan.

Well the only criteria given at the start was to pick our best team, so I built it to play together as a team, of course ability and fondness played their part. I tried to use all three.

Quinn & Phillips, simples....a no brainer for me despite stiff competition from Defoe & Bent.

Fair enough matey, I'd probably have picked a different pairing for CB and CM had I been building a team. Maybe I've interpreted it differently/incorrectly.

Each to their own, I suppose.

Quinn stayed longer and was an integral part of the team and Phillips success. He wasn't just about goals, although for a support striker he didn't half bang them in.

Defoe would get there just before Bent, for me. SKP and Quinn are way out in front, imo.

I loved having Defoe play for us the last few years, but this one's an absolute no brainer for me!

Quinn and Phillips as a partnership it is for me. Little and large combo worked great. I loved Defoe but sticking with what I seen was best for us.....

Obv Quinn and Phillips was the partnerships but as individuals it's Kev and Defoe all day.
