Apparently Cedric and William are great mates and William is worried that the Portuguese tax office are after him for undisclosed image right earnings. Cedric has persuaded William to come to Saints because the wages are so low no-one would look for him here and there's not much tax to pay on 10 Euros for image rights.
Is he? In that one tournament years ago, yeah. 25 now, serially linked with a move away that has never happened.
How is it odd? My point being that it's the other team that concentrate more on youth development. I think it's dangerous to get involved in the madness in this window to a greater extent, and clearly we/they do too. They haven't signed a single player. Perhaps in the long run we, and they, are the smart ones.
Yeah, that's my worry too. There is an element among our fanbase - and I think we are mostly talking about people who never went near the ground until last season - who are going to be impossible to please.
