How many teams sell players and have actively pushed players out to make money?

I can't really remember this happening at all recently which is what you are saying about being a selling club.

Even Southampton can't really be classed as a selling club, all their players who have left are all who wanted to move on :p

We all succumb to bigger clubs, Resl took Ronaldo from you. Pogba went and you had it pay £90 mill to get him back.

Walker was sold purely because Pochettino okayed the deal. If he'd have said no, Walker would still be a Spurs player.

If you look at it that way, virtually every club is a selling club. Unless you're Real or Barca, you're always susceptible to a bigger club luring your best players away.

Look at L'pool. Not a small club, but if Barca really want Coutinho and Coutinho wants to go, they'll be very hard pushed to stop it happening.

I never claimed they were. But, once again, the insinuation is always that Levy and Spurs are willing sellers.

That's not true, simple as. Therefore there's nothing to 'get the hang of' as you put it.

By "us" do you mean Spurs or do you support some small local club that needs a new member?!

They are willing sellers, getting a good price is what he is best at, keeping players is what he is worst at.

This is just Levy preparing the fans for the fact that they won't be spending much in the next couple of years and will sell a few stars. No more & no less.

And there's the moment that the debate falls apart. <ok>

That'll do then, I'm not interested in getting into your petty rabble again, shame you can't back up what you say with some substance.

Well in his defence he is good at keeping his players from his rivals clutches (lets be honest, Man United and Spurs were not rivals for anything back when Berbatov and Carrick were sold to United, Spurs were so far behind).
But yes ultimately he doesn't do so well at keeping them, just excels at getting a good price for them from foreign clubs.
If that gets your juices flowing as a fan then have at it hoss!

There's nothing more to debate. You claim Spurs are willing sellers. I say they're not.

Where's your backup for your claims then?

I've supported 1 underachieving club for 25 odd years - I don't need to start supporting another!

Try having Saints + England as your two teams mate.
