As much as I loved the Jak, it's great to see our angry goalie back and seeming to be getting his form back. Goalies should.be angry at everyone.

That tonight just highlighted how we probably need around 8 or 9 players to even have a remote chance of a promotion push this year! We are woefully short in a lot of positions! McGregor - didn't have a lot to do but what he did he didn't do great with! Even the tamest of shots seemed to spill out his hands before pulled it back in and his kicking was woeful! Mazuch - I thought looked tidy Clarke - looked tidy but thought his positioning maybe didn't help aina at times Aina - quick and looked better going forward but was caught in bad positions way too many times! Constantly having to chase his man back Lenihan - sorry but if we are relying on him at RB then we are buggered! Did nothing with the ball and again caught flat footed so many times. Stewart - looked tidy and calm under pressure. Clucas - quiet game from him Grosiki - lazy absolute waste of space! Does he really think his performances last season and this pre season have earned him a move elsewhere!! Shocking Bowen - quiet game but the odd flash of what he could bring. Campbell - best player in a city shirt for 45 mins! Woefully unfit but still did the hard yards and battling! Hernandez - not his best but had very little service Weir - just no! Dio - all oomph and no end product unfortunately Can't remember who else came on which says it all really! Distinctly get the impression that players just don't want to come here combined with the Allams just selling anybody of any worth and trying to replace with cheap alternatives! That works when you have a manager like Marco Silva with a great rep and good contacts! I'm getting the impression that slutsky doesnt have anywhere near the pulling power! Sinking ship people! 11 days till kick off and woefully woefully short of- A. A good enough first team And B. A good enough subs bench!
hmm hope Slut has a good look at what we have and can assemble them into something resembling a team in the last 11 days we have available. my only hope is that every other team in this league is looking just as hopeless as we are.
