I am going on holiday in a few weeks. Not sure if there is a coach to take us from the airport to the hotel included, but there is a rumour that I will have pay extra. It's not confirmed yet, and I can't help feeling that the driver looks a bit inexperienced. Will he be able to handle the pressure whilst driving forward? There you go.

It's the 4th time today I've checked in to read 'b*ll*cks. Just as well really, wouldn't want to get too excited..
It is good to check bollocks daily. Four times daily is possibly slipping in to a category other than a sensible health check.
Is anyone worried now that it seems no takeover will be happening this Summer that there are minimal funds available and that the board will try to do just the bare minimum to 'get by'? It's a slight concern of mine, and history suggests that stance doesn't tend to go well.
I'm not worried by it as I think we have enough to get by next year, just don't think next year will be particularly exciting if it turns out to be the case
I'm not too concerned because I think Pellegrino must have time to assess the squad and work with them. He would have had three solid weeks with the majority of the team once this French trip is concluded. He'll now have a better idea of where he thinks we should strengthen.
Depends how well we replace Virgil and Ryan if they go though surely? Could be starting the season with 3 of the back 4 from last August not there.
Doubt we replace Bertrand if we are just looking to "get by" as we have 2 promising young LBs that if given a full season of playing time split between them could grow into more valuable assets to sell. I also don't think it will be that hard to replace VVD with a serviceable enough player to keep us in the mid table pack
I don't think that's how football or at least saints work any more though. You can't really decide halfway through the window 'oh we need a new cb.' These deals are really long and complicated it seems so I reckon if we do have targets we'll already be working on them. Although of course I don't know so could be wrong.
I agree but what he wants and what he gets is 2 seperate things isn't it? I'm sure despite what he said publicly Puel would have liked a striker last Summer.
Everton now out of sight following their activity this summer, Wetspam making a strong attempt to over take us with some solid signings, Leicester will be tough with addition of McGuire and Bournemouth have strengthened too. We need to be careful not to be complacent about our squads strength
Everton may well appear to be out of sight, however I don't see football like that. Ask Manchester United fans if they're out of sight after their last summer spending? Newcastle the summer before that. Crystal Palace. Spending the money doesn't mean a guarantee. We've had our guts ripped out each summer for the last three... seemed to do ok despite that. You may be right, but let's not give up just yet because of how a team looks on paper.
