Spoiler: Game of thrones spoiler for LUV especially don't read. So GoT this week. 1. The scene setting, and script was movie standard this week.. far better than last week. 2. Cercei speech was exellent, could have been lifted out of a queen Elizabeth the first jobbie. 3. titties... 4. Sam doing the scab picking was hilarious but the cut to the pie was genius. I was oh **** what puss is that and to was actually someone eating a fecking pie 5. The bit with varis and daenerys is preet good, she carried off a threatening persona nicely... however... does she need to dress like cercei? 6. Arya and the pie... bit odd but i presume lifted out of a book so out of sequence but makes sense to a point. As is the doggie stuff. it was a bit pointless as a scene given the dogs are not important in this show. Decent visual scene though. 7. Jon snow... jesus that lad can't act the put on man of the north accnt is not great so his speeches in the first two shows are well enough and move on .Its all to set up a sansa v little finger thing anyway. 8. the pirate battle... can this lad not do jack sparrow please... jesus wept but anyway... the two sisters dying to his hand was disappointing but it all makes sense. the entire dorn story actually becomes cercei getting the woman who killed her daughter as a present. the set up over multiple books/series is great. The pirate acting is **** and lets it down slightly for me after tlast show but he didn't have much to do this show but battle and it was visually well done. Theon jumping over the side was par for course i suppose. I never really got the importance of the sister over all so we will see. Having the intertwining of story with the starting link to the mountain, then the guys whos head popped like a zit then the kiss of death and killing of the prince of dorn and it all ends up with cercei having a victim and her daughter to torture and the two sluts die as after thoughts... nice... I think the mountain might be told to rape this pair frankly.. cercei is that nasty. 9. And we see the set up of tyrion ignoring the order to put in bend the knee (we know its wise cos she would have sounded like cercei) and sending the note to jon snow so now the trailer shows the pair meeting next show... this all added to by the red witch bailing in in this show just in time. This will be fun. 10. trialer also shows the battle tyrion called for at the rock... that shoudl be sport. Can anyone explain how if the fleet is destroyed how the unsullied get to main land.... or were the dornish forces on the ships or what?
I've just read some reviews of Ozark and I'm making it a project. Great reviews across the board. The Illusionist tonight and then Ozark solid
Spoiler: For mito As to the ships, Dorne etc. The ships were heading to Dorne to collect the Dornish forces, thus having to pass Kings Landing and Euron being able to ambush them presumably just below Blackwater Bay (DragonStone being at the mouth of the Bay and the Narrow sea). Guess this means the Dornish will have to travel by land to Kingslanding, although it does raise the question of how can they have a siege when their fleet is half destroyed, can't control the bay especially as Euron is hanging around. The Unsullied and Dohraki I assume have already landed on the mainland, probably in the Stormlands which are pretty much unruled by this point. And they still have the Tyrell and other captured ships from the Slavers for ferry troops across. I suppose they got rid of the Sand Snakes so quickly as they were very unpopular and they only need the mother and daughter for the whole Cersi revenge.
I do want to see the Orville. It will either be horrendously bad or really good. Either way it will be an experience. They've got some big names doing some of the directing.
Spoiler: spoiler back i had assumed as much yes. You are right no siege is logistically possible in this scenario now. which is fine they need to stretch it out.
Seth MacFarlane wrote, directed and acted or voice acted in Family Guy (probably second most famous animated comedy after Simpsons)... And Ted (highest grossing R rated movie of all time). Favreau has done lots of things. Won awards...etc. probably most famous of the lot. (Iron Man, Elf, Jungle Book, etc). There are 3 or 4 former Star Trek alum in the director roles which is rather amusing.
Just finished all nine seasons of the peep show. really easy to watch, nice short episodes and some brilliant comedy in there. 9/10
