He is currently our top scorer! I was thinking more a No 10, maybe not experienced enough for AM? (just yet)
Our official site has him down as a Forward: Bio An exciting talent, Jarrod joined the Tigers’ Academy from Hereford United in 2014. By that time, he had already made eight appearances for the Bulls at National League level having made his senior debut at the age of just 17. The striker was in impressive form during pre-season in the summer of 2016 as injuries to others offered him the opportunity to play with the senior side, taking his chance by netting goals against Mansfield Town and Barnsley. Named amongst the substitutes on the opening day of the 2016/17 Premier League season, a senior debut came in the EFL Cup tie against Exeter just over a week later.
Diomande at the beginning of last season showed some real promise and he was in form. He gave us some pace and was willing to run at players. This may well be his level to shine at. Also, don't know if you hadn't realised but we are in no position and do not have the luxury of letting anyone go.
Sports people are a different breed. Footballer go through all sorts of routine surgery, injection courses and god knows what else to play at the highest level. When I was a teenager and into skateboarding and alle xtreme sports me and all my mates routinely suffered some savage injuries from deep wounds to snapped arms and legs and cracked heads, a couple of mates with some just like Ryan's, it never stopped anyone. The only reason he won't be back is if he has a severely compromised skull and the doctor won't let him IMO. And the fact that he's training suggests that isn't the case.
£5m is a steal because he's the kind of player who will end up at Southampton or Everton and then has the potential to move on from them. Problem is that he will be worth 20m and be sold for 8 if we ever get him.
Totally agree with regards Diomande. Personally I'd try and convert him to a winger. I thought his best games for us were when he played out wide. He's also got a really good work ethic which makes him a decent prospect in this league.
If Watford are in for him then we have no chance. Premier League football and Marco Silva. What are people's thoughts on Alfred N'Diaye? not many players covered themselves in glory last year but I think he could do a good job at this level. Villarreal have made his exit a priority.
Stewart is a similar player to N'Diaye, personally I think he will turn out better than N'Diaye, even though I quite liked him, and wouldn't be against resigning him. Though midfield with Stewarts addition means we seem well covered in that area now.
