Yes, and that type of logic is correct. You cannot say indefinitely who is the better player, everyone has an opinion on it obviously but if you cannot compare the players equally then you can't say which one is definitely better.

Yeah, but would Messi be better in DM than Poulsen? Messi is better overall, obviously, but if you had to put one of them in a defensive position, you'd go with Poulsen. Any other position you'd pick Messi.
No we can't, Poulson is much better in my opinion though. Messi can't tackle for ****, whereas Poulson can tackle AND pass it back to the goalkeeper, giant of a player.
I woudlnt id trust messi to create enougth magic from DM to make up for his lack of defensive talents.
