yeah i was kinda mentioning it as a joke lol. I'm not sure he's going to improve your team as the suggestion is that he will be backup to Milner. I think you'd be better off with him in the side than Milner though (Unless Milner recaptures his early LB form)
Robertson is a solid cheap young British option - could surprise a few people. A) he's a proper left back B) he's got pace C) he overlaps Average defensively so he's on par with what we have but I think he'll offer more going forward. For me, he does improve the first XI but not by much. At worst - we'll sell him in a couple of years and prob make a profit.
There could be a reason for that. He may be a Scottish International but it is hardly a golden age for Scottish football!
He's a decent LB, is he good enough for a side that wants to challenge? Not sure he is from what I've seen of him.
I agree - it's no risk IMO. He can be a decent stop gap for one year and we can target someone better next summer. We were after Mendy and Emerson so I'm guessing we're still after a starting left back.
Liverpool have made a third bid for Naby Keita, one that RB Leipzig are yet to respond to, and the player’s representatives have travelled to Austria to meet RB officials in a bid to facilitate a move to Anfield, according to reports from Amadou Makadji, the Guinean editor of Foot224. http://readliverpoolfc.com/2017/07/24/liverpool-make-new-keita-bid-player-pushing-move/

So I just got home and saw the full sky report on Keita. It seems a team mate called demme put ahard tackle in on keita who then basically went and revenge kicked the guy in another tackle causing training to be abandoned. It seem the guy was hit on the knee but It was bruising not ligaments. It must have been a TASTY kick that souness would have been proud of. Not sure what to make of that but it would seem to be emotions running high in that camp at minimum.
Watching that video of the training ground incident it looks pretty obvious he doesn't want to stay with that group of players
lol standard challenges from that distance viewing in. Maybe not in training but nothing out of the ordinary
But do you want that at our club? There would come a time when he falls out with one of our lads. Is that type of temperament acceptable?
