you think Klaassen would play wide? I would see him as a centrel player but i suppose accommodating rooney has to be done somehow. In any event alli and erikkson at spurs play narorw for full backs to bomb on and you have those full backs (well not holgate i suppose but coleman)

Trying to carry Rooney will cripple Everton figuratively and Klaassen literally

 

Our 'wide' players in the attacking 3 generally tuck in and Klaassen can play that role. Rooney will play the 10 role in the main.

It is very solid though and they could go 343 as well when coleman is back than that could aid baines.

I FORGOT LOOKMAN..... he could be very good playing right side forward there. he might make the difference.

 

Even then Mirallas isn't even a true wide forward to offer width as his favourite move is to cut inside and shoot into the far corner.
