Jay DaSilva has joined Charlton on loan according to TalkSport on Friday {maybe I should read the rest of the thread before posting!}
It's one thing if you've got a good alternative to pick ahead of him, but he didn't even make the bench for a single game under Lambert and ended up going back to Man United to play for the U23's.
Memo to the Spanish waiter... Title: Tight Geordie bar-stewards. £4m might buy Sam's left peg....The other three limbs cost an extra £12m, then there's another £2m for his football brain ... £18m and you might be in the right ballpark.
Ehab has the ability to agree a sale of a Hull City Tigers player in record ****ing time - 10m here 10m there, 17m for Harry - all done with minimal fuss When it comes to agreeing a purchase he's ****ing useless. There's a strong correlation between how quickly things move depending upon whether the money involved is flowing in or out of his wallet
You have to remember that agents and journalists are also in each other pockets. The agents will sometimes give them a scoop ahead of other media outlets but in return they also expect the same journalists to leak stories they plant. For example - Leo announces the supermarket is closed - Sam's agent then gets the £4million stories to Newcastle leaked through his sources. Today there is a link to Aston Villa - again perhaps through his agent. Quite clever to quote a ridiculously low fee to get other clubs fans asking why aren't we in for Sam Clucas - creating a buzz around the player. Hopefully this trick doesn't work and his agent was slow out the blocks to get him a move - much rather we keep hold of Clucas than Huddlestone, Jakapovic, Davies & Elmohamady!
Fulham linked with Cameron Jerome for £3m. Seriously for £3m we should be all over this. He scores goals in this league.
