Swansea have all their priorities wrong going after players we are not desperate for and will command a high wage.....We are going down the wrong track for surviving this season....
I can see us being the easiest team to score against if we dont get a minimum of 3 defenders with premiership or equivalent before the season starts and once the window closes then that will be it until January and the damage could be done by then.......We dont want the Bony's or the Wilshires that nobody wants who will want high wages at this time, We need Defenders more than any other position......Get that done and then see if we can afford fringe players...
Well he'll have to take a pay cut, won't he! if he wants to get his career back on track, it's not as if he was on peanuts when he was with us. Bony will definitely have to get back to match fitness though, after 2 seasons of nothing, still if a deal can be done then I'm up for his return, though maybe Llorente is on his way out, which would be a bummer..............
It would need to be a very substantial pay cut, which would leave one very disgruntled player. He hasn't done anything of note for a couple of years other than scoring twice against The Swans'. Too many question marks surround him now. He made his bed and was very happy to leave South Wales for a crock of gold. I wouldn't sign him.
Yes it would, but wages have gone up since he was last here, not mission impossible, where else would he go? China? France? He's had 2 years of over inflated wages, which he probably didn't deserve, so it will probably come down to how much he loves the game, and PL!.............
Bony **** on us twice and now we want him back......have we got Mug written on our club logo or what. Let some other mug employ him if he can find someone....We dont need anyone who turned his nose up on us when he thought he had a better club....
He left to better himself, Dai, and there's no shame in that. Why be so bitter towards a person who does that ? Didn't you ever seek advancement in your chosen career ? I did, on several occasions. It's what people do.
How twice, is going to Man city for what was then a lot of money and earning 130000 a week, the chance of winning the Pl, th chance of playing in the champions league ****ting on us then and the second time, Have we seen anywhere that we actually made a move for him last season and he chose Stoke over us, I cant remember, I am sure someone will post it if there is anything out there. So he maybe chose a comparable club over us once, still cant see the twice. Can I ask you then is Siggy ****ting on us as well.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/07/2...nsider-manchester-citys-patrick-roberts-as-g/ Maybe the long term replacement but not the replacement for the next 3-4 years.
The fullback we've been crying out for? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/07/2...ty-battle-crystal-palace-for-gregory-van-der/
Gylfi is going for the money and nothing else....Bony turned us down to come on loan when he was dropped by city and he ended up at stoke where he has been an expensive flop.....He had his chance to return and turned us down......Why would we be Mugs To take him back? He has been a failure......The only better himself he did was the money he got with the rest a down grade...
If Bony comes to the Swans he's not in a position to demand big wages. He's had two very poor seasons and his market value has plummeted. He could sit on his contract at Man City and pick up his £130,000 a week and lose another year of his footballing career but I doubt if he, or Man City would want that. We're offering him a route back and for that he must accept a substantial pay cut. I would take him back and keep Llorente and Abraham, it would give us so many options and we would have cover for Llorente (or Bony if he succeeds in becoming our number 1 striker).
With Ayew, we'd have 4 potential striker/front men. All of a sudden with those options, we'd have, potentially at least, significant firepower upfront.
Sigurdsson's refusal to travel to the USA should haunt him. Not a very professional thing to do, and a terrible example to set to younger players. He has gone down considerably in my estimation. He should be fined by the Club.
