Tim Berners-Lee must look at replies like that and wonder if his work was worth it.

What a game last night in leeds. After the own goal, Koren slips thru a defence splitting pass and Fryatt races away to round Lonergan and its 2-1 City. Early 2nd half 30yrd volley from Koren into the top corner and its 3-1 City. Then Barmby with a simple tap in makes it 4-1. Yay. Great. Oh No........I was asleep and in dream land. I awake to find out its 4-1 to Leeds. Oh well its only 3 points afterall. But the dream was good.

I agree the Tigers were toothless. What hurts more is that they were done by the worst Leeds team Ever.
Enjoy your win. Its a long season.

I think all these comments about 'Leeds being the centre of Yorkshire' and Hull not being a part of Yorkshire is just Leeds' way of showing they're uncomfortable with their lack of history in traditional Yorkshire - a bit like those blokes that feel the need to show they're masculine side to prove they're not gay. After all, the people of Leeds aren't too far off being Lancastrians and their accent is pretty close to being that too.

eastyorkshirewhite - your comment is a joke. Hull nothing to do with East Yorkshire?!! read up on your history! Plus, you see all those maroon coloured buses that are the main source of public transport in East Yorkshire... check out their name and where they were established.

...as for Hull's credentials as a Yorkshire city, I could go on all day, but will sum it up the fun and easy way, with a factual question....

Where are the most Yorkshire Puddings in the world made...?

Great British Library (the one containing all the ancient books that belong to the government) is in Leeds. It's down the road from our training ground, at Thorp Arch. Has books in there that are 1200 years old.

Thought Hull fans were constantly lecturing us about how much history doesn't matter?

Well, y'know... you all think Humberside exists and harp on about being the 'Champions of Europe', talking of your glory days - anyone would think you're stuck in the 1970s, so obviously our definitions on what is history probably differ.

Can't believe I've just spent 10 minutes reading through this ****, I thought (quite logically) that some football might have actually been discussed amongst the crappy banter, but I guess both sets of fans are too ill educated for that :bandit:

Mind you, if I was a Leeds fan I'd be gloating after the cringeworthy pre-match arrogance from some of our lot, Matt The Tiger in paticular has made himself look an absolute ****.

I had a score draw down, but once Gulacsi's awful error gifted you the lead, a Leeds win never looked in doubt. The change at half-time could potentially have brought us back into the game, but Snodgrass' superb effort put any chance of a comeback to bed. From then on it was painful to watch.

Good luck Leeds, you taught us a lesson last night, hopefully this spectacular grounding aids us to our inevitable place in the top six :emoticon-0136-giggl

was a bit touch and go last 20 minutes, our team seemed to back off and relax a bit. You were cutting through our midfield a bit too easily. I wasn't expecting it to go "Preston" on us, but I was a little worried about the teams ability to kill off games and hold strong. Without complacency we could have gotten 2 more with some of the opportunities we fumbled in the last 20 minutes.

After Nunez put the 4th in, it could have been any score. As you say, had you (Keogh and McCormack?) made more of the opportunities presented it might have been even more embarrassing for us. Equally, McLean and Fryatt could have scored for City in the second half.
