Tbh, I think they should limit subs in these games. It is a competition, even if a proper Mickey Mouse one.

    Wijnaldum as a number six?
    upload_2017-7-22_16-3-2.png
One of the most notable pieces of tactical news was Jurgen Klopp fielding Georginio Wijnaldum as a number six, or the single pivot in front of their defence, which is unusual as the Dutch midfielder has seldom played there before.

But such is his footballing intelligence – since graduating from Feyenoord’s esteemed academy all those years ago he’s operated in a wide multitude of roles – Wijnaldum took his new role like a duck to water.

Already an industrious footballer, hence why Klopp converted him into a box-to-box midfielder from his favoured attacking midfield position, the ex-PSV man patrolled his area dutifully whilst retaining and recycling possession effectively.

Klopp, who loves his players to be universal and operate in a wide number of roles, will no doubt have enjoyed seeing Wijnaldum add another string to his bow especially as the Merseyside giants will be fighting on four fronts next season and squad rotation will be paramount.

Klopp message to Hong Kong fans: "Thank-you. It's been great. It wasn't a dream to bring a team to HK. But we've enjoyed it."

Surely we got more out of those games than the tranmere and wigan games (particularyly the wigan due to diabolical pitch)?

it was bascially a disaster of a week in terms of facilities and preparation.

Klopp will be dying to get the plane home.

Those early games are good when you want to build fitness but a proper training camp is what is needed instead of all this traveling.
