    I agree . Can we all draw a line under this and start again ? IMHO ( Just mine I admit ) Skylarker , Tobes & Trixter are all fine . PLEASE can we start again ?

    I hope VvD sorts his head out and starts training with your team. Bad way to go out otherwise, poor poor showing from a Captain.

    tbh I'm not keen on signing someone that's willing to throw a strop. Would he do the same to us if Barca et al. came calling? It is a concern.

    Modern footballers get paid far too much and become egotistical idiots. Player power shouldn't even exist, as things like this happen.

    Long time ago now mate , wasn't about a transfer IIRC , he gave some banter and got banned . IMHO ( Again just mine ) that was out of order .

    Lallana and Fonte were both captains when they got all stroppy. The armband must be cursed. I can't even fathom for a second what goes on in footballers' heads any more. I'm fairly convinced that they are all basically empty-headed, and that their agents are just master manipulators.

    Re: Van Dijk. I think the real reason so many Saints fans are sensitive about this, is because in all honesty, he is EXACTLY what Liverpool have needed for the past 5/6 years. He will guarantee you a top four finish every year, and more. Seeing the likes of him and Mane on your teamsheet is heartbreaking.

    For sure. Ideally you'd want the money now in time to invest...

    I have a feeling this will rumble on till deadline day though. It stinks of a massive deadline day transfer. Not good for any team involved tbh.

    I fly next Saturday for 2 weeks.........fingers crossed it concluded one way or another by the time I get back.
    Won't be able to come on here or check BBC/sky etc much as the wifi is hit and miss on the island apparently.
