    The truth is in many ways Saints brought all this on themselves..........When VVD signed his new contract I am sure he thought he could go when ever he wanted despite the contract because of previous sales. I have said in the past and will say again Saints really will have to mean what they say and prove it, should it be necessary, as they currently appear to be doing.

    Some people may have missed my metaphor so I post it again. If you set yourself up as a shop people will come shopping FFS.

    The very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov has been shopping in Sainsbury's for a little while now. I am rather pleased that when she went there to buy our groceries today they didn't tell her to **** off or start calling her horrid names.

    We set ourselves up as the shop where other clubs come to buy decent footballers and we have been selling them for quiet some while now.

    Do we really have the right to tell other clubs to **** off when they come shopping?

    Yes, you do. No shop has to sell you anything...there is an offer to treat...but unless fraud is involved and an attempt to deceive, they don't have to sell to you. This especially applies to things in your stockroom and not out on the floor with a price attached.
