It Is absolutely fantastic , thst this Forum still has the meansto Stsff a Night shift detail. Cheers Brady
what i'm always right i saw silva come, i saw relegation and i saw silva leave i saw the loanees leave bruce would have kept us up this season and i thought we should have upgraded from bruce in 2015 and if we had decent owners would have been the right decision but alas bruce is the only person to contain them within the football club my biggest mistake i admit but with these owners we will 100% NOT be anywhere close to promotion this season is nothing but a relegation fight sterling is the most deluded guy i've ever seen guy thinks we will be fighting promotion a fat fraizer campbell and bowan vs boros and villas attacks 10th will be an incredible finish, i wonder how many stop posting on this forum, once it's realized we are a mid table championship side at best i am right fact please log in to view this image
Most on here wanted shut of Bruce long before he went! ( not me ) But he should have walked at the end of the season? Not a few weeks before the start of the new? He's tainted himself with that one.
Have you seen the remains of our squad? Not just the numbers, but the balance of it. It's absolutely staggering. Losing Grosicki then means we have another position with no-one left as a natural to fill it!!! Nobody, not one, never mind thinking about having 2 for every position. In fact, we wouldn't even have a proper winger for either flank!! To be in this state at this stage beggars belief. Yes, others can fill at RW, LW, LB, CB,... but none of them are specialists in those positions. Maybe the tactic will be to play like 5 year old kids, all ten outfield players just chase the ball anywhere around the pitch!? Kinell, a staggering amount of work to be done in not much time. Good job we've only got Benfica, Nantes and Ajax to come. And then it's only Villa. Still, I'm sure Enob will be updating and reassuring us all again today. #keepcalmandsupportHullTigers1 904 (From PS earlier post.... ) Going by the OWS, this is the first team squad GK: McGregor, Marshall (injured), Mannion RB: Lenihan, Odubajo (injured), Aina LB: CB: Dawson RW: Grosicki CM: Maloney (out of contract), Henrikson, Batty, Meyler, Mason (injured), Olley, Clucas, Weir, Evandro, Stewart LW: S: Hernandez, Keane (injured), Campbell, Bowen, Diomonde, Luer
Wow, I get we all have our opinions on here and think we're right, but to actually think Steve Bruce 'doesn't understand' (3 5 2). Didn't he get us to a cup final playing it?
As some of us on here stated a few months ago, asset stripping. I hoped it and was more than £30m and would just deduct it from the £100m they wanted. Probably would need a £70m bid now? Guess they need to max out the parachute payments.
Its still asset stripping whether it is there own assets or somebody elses........... I have a bit more confidence some of them will be replaced now we have spent 4M on a player that looks like Slutskys choice.......
Yep. As I posted at the end of last season, it's the best chance we'll ever have to completely revamp our squad.
Its shocking. But was obvious when the damage (more damage) was done the last transfer window, basically **** or bust. Final throw at competing in Premier League, if that fails just recoup as much as you can Blackpool esque. Get the odd signing/ loanee in to keep FA off their backs. Added bonus is the fans just turn their backs but at different times so any protest is even more muted. I got pillored (is that even a word?) for my negativity on here for suggesting that just a couple of months ago, sad to see those same people now having breakdowns.
I think they must have paid down a decent wedge of the debt from last season's PL money, it certainly didn't all appear on the pitch. They could have reduced the debt from £80m to maybe £50m last season. Reckon there could be another £20m or more paid down this season from player sales and parachute money, even with a bit of investment in the likes of Stewart and whoever we end up getting in at centre back.
Pilloried is the word you're looking for. Everyone on here gets that, positive, negative or in the middle. It's the whole point of the forum tbh, if we all agreed it'd be boring.
The aim is clearly to maximise what they can make out of the club, or even cut their losses.. (I don't think anyone really has a clue). They have two choices get back in premier league sell everything that's is saleable (is that not asset stripping), collect parachute payments buy the odd player to keep FA (or whoever) and some supporters (surprised at you Chazz) off their backs. Bonus is most of the support just quietly disappear so any nasty protest is muted. They've tried the first option which didn't work, and far too risky. It was obvious in January transfer window, even the ****ing manager and half a dozen of his backroom staff were basically on loan!
