Multi Club forum, It is divided in to teams.. And it even has a premier league forum, Where "multi club fans" discuss amongst themselves.

As a bit of a side note a Chelsea supporting mate reckons they are in for VVD. No idea where he gets his info from (probably on a similar forum to this one) but I agree that the timing is what seems strangest to me, and imo points to another club coming in for him. We explicitly told Liverpool to **** off by reporting them to the Premier League, if VVD really wanted that move then why wouldn't he say so then, not started pre season with the rest of the squad and been training alone? There is a chance that the clubs were still discussing behind the scenes, and talks have gone nowhere so this is only real course of action to force the move, but to me it points more to another team coming in that he feels is worth really forcing.

City could potentially be interested. Said all all along that would be best fit for both club & player.

 

Sold Ake, Terry gone aswell, Zouma sent out on loan and play 3 at the back. Atm they have Cahill, Luiz, Rudiger, Christensen and ??? I may be missing someone, I know Azpi can play there but still look light to me. If VVD is saying he wants out then I think they would certainly be looking at him.

Agree about City although full back is a far more pressing concern for them so may not be targeting a centre back this window. Even with their insane budget there must surely be a limit and after spending what £200m (?) so far with Mendy and still needing 2 more full backs they may not be able to afford him. Arsenal and Utd would also be interested looking at their options at CB aswell. Tbf the only "top" team I can see not wanting him desperately would be Spurs. Now it is public knowledge that he really wants out I reckon we could see more teams coming in for him seriously.

 

He'd be perfect for City tbf. I think he'd be the difference in them winning the PL next season.

 

Be interesting to see how it goes, though I still suspect he will end up at Pool. Don't see Arsenal spending that much on a CB, particuarly with no CL.

Yeah a great calming influence alongside Stones, that partnership could settle and develop for years. Brilliant at bringing the ball out too, I've said all along if I was Pep I'd be telling the board to everything possible to get him there.

It's a better option for him too, not being funny but they're clearly a better bet for regular CL and the top trophies at the moment. No offence.

 

Well, no. If you did support weymouth you wouldn't be on here making a big deal about Liverpool tapping up and disrupting our squad - again. Its not who you are, its what you represent and what you have to say about it. Personally, I don't care what you have to say about the transfer but you are trying to turn yourself into a victim here. I don't see you other threads offering much insight about Saints, only here, stirring the pot about VVD. Hardly victim behaviour.

 

I guess it all depends on how much teams rate VVD. All Saints fans think he is up there with the best in the league, a lot of the pundits do as well. So if he is throwing his toys out of the pram then I'm sure teams will be looking at him and weighing up a move. He may well end up at Liverpool, but as I said the timing of this outburst seems strange to me.

No, you have a thing where you put a sensible sentence (which you then say is part of a sensible discussion) and then can't resist to stick in a dig or a wind up as a last word.
