Just an observation really, Wenger is bleating on that he wants quality players only and he won't buy players who are not better than what he has. I agree 100%. But he hasn't bought anybody ..... well he has: Oxlade Chamberlain is an improvement on who exactly ? Jenkinson is an improvement on who ? Gervinho is an improvement on who ? Bendtner, I'll give him that. Why is Bendtner still at the club then ? There are at least half a dozen players in the first team squad that shouldn't be there still. Lastly, if there are no quality players out there to improve our squad why have other clubs managed to find some ? How is Wenger looking ? Is his myopic-ness spreading to scouting too ??? Enrique .. £6m to Liverpool, that's a bargain, considering we don't have a decent LB why didn't we go in for him, for example. He says he is not afraid to spend the money, so why hasn't he spent it on Cahill, Jagielka or Samba then ??? Stop the lies Wenger
My mate really hates Wenger and slates him for being a lier but i've always defended him, maybe because he's done Arsenal so much good. Now he's really starting to get on my nerves and i'm starting to get put off by anything he says. He rarely ever says anything insightful, and whinges whenever anything doesn't go his way. The best thing for him to do is just be quiet and get on with it!
I've been defending him. Well up till today. In a way I do feel sorry for him but his seeming refusal to see that he needs to get on with the job does not bode well for the club. There is a lot of indecision, apprehension, all of which results in delays. Each day and week that we delay costs the club in points and pounds. Arsene works on false economies. Saving a few hundred thousand means we don't get the player, don't advance and don't succeed. If he can't see this then I'm afraid it really will lead to the inevitable. Sorry Arsene, we don't want it this way either so it is up to you.
Surely he can't be taking us for fools so is he just fooling himself? Arsene is in denial. His 4th team has not worked and is coming apart now that two of it's leading proponents are leaving or have left. He tried hard to keep the squad together but it was not to be. Sadly he couldn't see nor accept that. Now he's leaving the need to replace them very very late
Exactly. Face the fact that Nasri wants to go, pocket £20m and replace both Nasri and Fabregas. His dithering is costing us dearly. Its only when it comes to Arsenal that transfers take so long, any other club can get business done quickly. Note when Arsene isn't being a cheapskate transfer dealings are completed quickly. The guy has made me have a screw face for months now.
