    You aren't allowed to be offended at being randomly called a *****phile because they have 'mental illness'. Maybe they have mental illness and maybe they don't. It's de rigueur to claim mental illness when your life is **** and you're looking for somewhere to hide so it could be that too; **** things happening in your life and being miserable over it does not equate to mental illness. It's not that I don't sympathise with people who are having a hard time or stuck in a rut but there are too many people using this label when it's not legitimate. IMHO.

    Go ahead, shoot me down.

    Agree to an extent,
    I actually think most folk go through periods of either extreme stress or mental illness at some point. Some identify it... some don't. Same with anxiety. 10 years ago folk would call it stress but it's a very different beast allltogether.
    Like any illness there will be some out there who use it as a tool to explain bad or rude behaviour or justify a certain action.. the type who constantly remind people about it for example (a bit like folk who play the race card). Likewise there will be some who bottle it up and suffer in silence and it's more these type of folk who I the most sympathy for. Mental illness isn't a dirty word and it's great that it's now openly recognised along with other illnesses as just part of life and nothing to be ashamed of.

    One of the Three Amigos wrote last week that he had been on sniff...cocaine I take it. I don't think snorting that would do anyones mental health any good. Some people make life even harder for themselves. The sympathy is waning fast.

    I have suffered it in the past and wouldn't wish it on anyone. Totally cured now though and have been for years thank goodness.

    Take saturday, Sunday and monday off like me Comm, it helps! Ive been having some tattoo work done the last six weeks, more on monday. Sure beats working.
