I don't begrudge the lad a move like this. Always gave his best but sometimes was not as good as required. I'll keep an eye on him this season.

 

Don't get why people seem to think that a defender is bad because they were in a team that was relegated.

One player cannot singly carry an entire team.

That is a crazy player turnover for 3 years. The league yoyo'ing obviously is a factor. But damn!!!!!

 

the turnover is added to by the fact that the club lets good players leave and then has to buy/sign/pay two or three before getting an adequate replacement

 

So even the OWS can't spell Henriksen's name? He must feel loved.

 

I thought it was bad looking at the FA Cup team on Amber Nectar, Meyler and McGregor also the only ones remaining. But this is worse, it shows the whole backroom infrastructure (apart from John Eyre) gone as well.

I think the most telling line coming from the photo of Stewart holding a shirt is:
'The Tigers have strengthened their squad with the arrival of Kevin Stewart,' which might conceivably mean he's the last of any signings....

As yet another week ends.
To have gone through a 2 week pre-season training camp, with 3 friendlies played after tomorrow, and yet that's the shambolic state of our squad. And to have risked going through it with only one senior ageing CB.
It beggars belief.

I actually believed his lies earlier this close season (communication, 90% done early, and the other BS).
I then thought that ok, it's going to happen during this last week.
It hasn't, in fact it gets worse given Grosicki is now likely going (not a surprise I guess), and now hearing the sort of players we are being linked with (not good enough for supposedly lessor clubs costing next to nothing).
