Here's my thoughts. Don't panic. On the evidence of the last two games we are capable of staying in the Championship. Just as some of those at the top will fall away, we will climb the table. However, we do need to sort out our striking options and our midfield creative problems. For me the central midfield pairing of JE and RJ is not working, however dispite having two defensive midfielders we do not dominate the midfield. Ideally we need JE to be winning that ball and giving it to one of three colleagues in the midfield to distribute. What has happen to the Prince? Could he fill this role? And if CI is not fit, drop him. Already ironic cheers went up when he finally managed to win a header and if his poor displays are down to fitness then get him fit first. My alternative would be Massey before Deeny. One area that Iam encouraged by is the defence. Despite shipping four goals last night against the team that I believe will be champions, I think the defence has looked safer in the last two games than it has for a long time. Yes, Dickinson is not as creative as AT, but he brings balance, and LD was quite involved last night in an attacking role. Plus, he had Cole in his pocket (Cole's goal coming when he was in the middle). So keep the faith. Saturday is a big, big game against a team that should be even more demoralised than us given last night's results. Even at this early stage, a real six pointer. COYH

That's a brilliant shot of DG half way down. Ho-hum.... I'm disappointed to read everything that has been written about Iwelumo, (here and in the press) mainly because that's exactly what I feared we were buying.
Yeah I remember your concerns a few weeks ago GG , I seemed to be defending Big Chris shows you what I know!! Hopefully it'll turn out ok in the end
How close are we to our objective? [ A good post Aberdeen but surely to be able to answer this we should look back at what our aims were at the start of the season, this Thread makes a good read on how we felt then
