Wouldn't read too much into it....2 or 3 clubs often compete for a player. Just a joke....the paper labels roughly stuck over our logos indicates that they aren't trying to steal it in any way. Look upon it as an homage. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
I like that Roma video, particularly the entirely random shot of the tree full of goats...cos I like goat(s)
Hooray, it was getting a bit restless on here, just pacing up and down shaking it's head like a mental polar bear in a zoo enclosure.
Did we rule ourselves out of the Icheanacho deal? http://metro.co.uk/2017/07/20/kelec...er-west-ham-and-southampton-interest-6794716/ Screw sell on clauses IMO, he's an astute purchase with bags of potential and goals. I'd be super happy to get him in.
I thought Leicester had this lad in the bag, be great if we could get him but would mean selling one of our existing four first team strikers
Four DL? Gabby, Austen, Long and Gallagher? I wonder if Gallagher will be included this season. I would think MP2 is assessing him now before deciding if he will be part of the first team squad fully.
Wouldn't Gabby & Ichy be too similar? I read earlier someone commented Gabby can / has played AM - that might work / be an option. I wonder how radical MP2 will be in the coming season ? VVD moving more forward? Stephens moving into DM ? 3-5 formation? I'm not saying wise but I have a feeling he'll be trying a few "out of the box" options.
Ichy is a more powerful. I'd buy him absolutely. Fits our model perfectly, cracking young talent, and it also means he'll stop scoring against us!
Hopefully West Ham a Leicester will be put off by the buy-back clause. We'll likely go for it because it's kind of 'our thing' anyway.
Indeed four including Gallagher. I see Gabby and Long being interchangeable and Charlie and Sam being interchangeable If we get Ichy then I would either loan out Sam or sell Shane as he will go down the pecking order
I can't see us going for another striker....we just have to somehow make the ones we have find the net. Not that hard....we've managed in previous seasons...the last one was an aberration (fingers crossed). We have a good team who underperformed...perhaps Mauricio believes that he can get them to fire on all cylinders again. Personally, I think Les has gone on a protracted holiday where he can't be reached by anyone. Don't like the idea of a buy back clause, but I suppose in the end it is no different from a loan.
Following the trend of recent years, Liverpool would probably give us £35 million for Shane as he scored against them last season!
