    It's a bit vague, they've just said it will be closed during "non-sociable hours", though I think at the SAG meeting they mentioned midnight to 5.00 or 6.00am.

    you cant block a public right of way with or without planning permission, in fact it is a crime

    if they are allowed to do what they have done then it can't be a public right of way

    Anyone been in that new bar Chilli Devils in town? Beer and bowls of Chilli - must be a winner. Not had chance to check it out yet myself.

    Also the old jewellery shop on Silver Street is changing to something called Vintage. Presume it's a clothes shop but I did hear a whisper a year or so ago that it was going to be Belgian beer bar. Know which I'd prefer.
