He said, it's because he doesn't want anybody here who doesn't want to be here, so he won't stand in the way of anybody leaving. I agree, think we'll find a keeper no problem. Mika may do a job, I've not seen him play.
It's still a gamble though. Fair play to get rid of anyone who doesn't want to play for us but both, out the door early on? Ballsy to say the least! And I agree, we'll get someone in, but hell, its still high risk!
Generally speaking finding a half decent keeper isn't difficult. You can pick one from any age between 20 and 40 and even the world class ones don't cost the earth. I'm sure we can pick up a safe pair of hands for not much money.
I'm not too worried at the moment. In the meantime Mika will get some game time. It's his chance to impress.
Wrong again me - I have a feeling that maybe SG was'nt fully in the loop with this deal - I really hope not. Our young Pole (not risking a name spell ) may be a good fit for the opening game. My first match was in '64 after promotion against Leicester in the Division 1 , we had a 15 year old Derek Foster in goal -think he was MOM in a 3-3 draw
