    <laugh> I needed the money and it was a win-win situation as said above. Unfortunately against Blackburn we drew so I still lost the money and was pissed off.

    Do you know if Billy is running the coach for Scunthorpe away?

    I often include a bet against the lads as insurance in case we lose... I at least get some dosh to get pissed with

    Never on accumulator they always screw me over

    Over teams never to bet on

    Man City (over last couple of seasons)
    Liecester
    Leeds
    Notts County
    Bayern Munich

    They are always the one team on the coupon that costs me like £200

    I'd bet on us or against us, depends who we're playing. Liverpool and Chelsea are now my teams i won't bet on.

    I actually fancies us to win that against Arsenal...and we did, odds were about 12/1........shame the rest of my accumulator let me down.

    That's the way to do it, there are lots of other things to bet on without betting against our team, first goal scorer, or a particular player to score.
    My brother does "fixed odds", whilst waiting for him to place his bet I noticed a sign saying "Williamson to score" so I put a £5 bet on. Hmm would have been nice if I'd won. The odds were 33-1

    I had Leicester and Leeds in my accumulator on Saturday, they both lost, so you're theory is correct.

    Very rarely put us in an accumulator, we're likely to beat one of the top 6 and then lose to someone like Blackpool, Wigan, Blackburn, Stoke etc in our next game, minefield.

    Not to lose, but for the opening game of the season I had us to win 2:1 but Gervinho to score first. My accumulator that i'd put on was already ****ed via Leeds, Leicester (bastards), but Gervinho getting sent off more than made up for it. Other than that I tend not to bet on them, for the reasons most people put above.

    Might have a few quid on Stevie Taylor to score on Saturday, he's due a goal after one game without one. The drought has to end soon....
