Hey all,

Heading to Spain on Sunday and wanna try and squeeze in a chance to watch Barcelona. As you are all aware the stadium is huge so was wondering if any of you have been and if you have any advice on where to try and get tickets for.

    Cheers!

I've been but we were right at the top. Horrible away section, worse than SJP I'd say. I would go for the middle tier, I'd imagine that will be a decent view.

Yeah i was thinking I didnt want to be too high up, somewhere in the middle along the side of the pitch would be nice. 41 euro a ticket isnt too bad either.

Went years ago and we were up in the heavens. It looked like that old football game on a Spectrum from where we sat.

I reckon middle tier is best.

I went in march, was right at front of top tier, awesome view cos its so steep! They sell the tickets on las ramblas on a little stall, also best of getting sub around, cheap, easy and safe! Just don't sit back of bottom tier cos you can't see anything but the pitch, make sure you go on a stadium tour and have fun!

been the camp nou for a tour, but never a game. from what i can remember there would be very little point sitting up in the heavens, the pitch was tiny!

Id disagree, if you know who's who then the stand is so steep you get a good view anywhere in the first 2 tiers

I went in 2004 and 2005, both times sat in the bottom tier, view was awesome, 2nd time was 2 rows in and right nr te corner flag. Got a quality pic of Ronaldinho walking over to take a corner.

Definately go on a stadium tour though.

I went in 2009, they beat Blibao (2-0 I think, could've been about 10 though). Sat just to the left of one of the goals, about half way up. Pretty decent view. Stadium tour is well worth it, although don't know it on a matchday - go either the day before or day after. A mate of mine went a few weeks after I was there and he bought tickets at the stadium. It's piss easy to get to using the Metro which is easy to use and very clean. A million times better than the underground.

Oh yeah, and late at night lots of prostitutes come out on Las Ramblas.

HAHA indeed! my mate got mugged by someone pretending to be a undercover copper, and another mate got scratched by a hooker and had to have a tetanus jab!

The game I was lookin at was against Porto. It's Joan something cup. Not sure it wud be wise to spend €140 on tickets for girlfriend and son if it's gunna b half empty and not first team. My son idolises Messi (don't we all) and I'd b gutted for him if he wasn't playing
