Shilton also got lobbed from a Paul Parker deflection whilst practically on his goal line I blame the Germans
It still pisses me off to this day. That and how Shilton got out jumped by a guy the size of my 7 yo...
Apart from my excellent suggestion? I also wonder how much of an influence Dave Watson has on this. He is afterall a top keeper coach.
Unlikely. If the contract he signed last year included a clause about a pay rise this year if he proved his fitness then there wouldn't be any need to sign a new contract, that clause would just be triggered and his pay would increase.
Yeah, but in the absence of you know, actual news about a takeover or new signings, this can be spun as an actual, you know, signing...
" I blame the Germans
Well we can all agree on that
Well we can all agree on that
Yeah, but I cant talk so much about that, cos of the family n stuff...
Is he? Based on what exactly? If it's his job to improve keepers then ive not seen any signs of that with us.
Some people just keep looking for the bad. I'm basing that on he fact he was highly sought after to be the England coach and when we signed him. I don't know, but I would guess that there must be some truth in it. I bet he's better than me and you.
How is that looking for the bad? You're assuming he's a top coach because he got the England job. Do we really have to go over the quality of the English coaching set up? From what I've seen of Frasers development here, he's not a top coach. Stekelenburg also looked much better at Everton than he did here, whatever's that worth.
I feel like I only ever read posts from you that are on the critical side of the club or the players. That's what I meant. No offence. Just how it comes across. (In my empty life )
