Pickford put the most into the club in terms of finances when we were in dire, dire need. I'll always be incredibly grateful for that.
Sorenson for me, Craig Gordon was a huge disappointment and a waste of money for me, error prone and weak at set pieces, far too lightweight to be top class keeper imo.
Gonna say most of the players picked in this team will be from the circa 2000 team like. In fact probably only Defoe I can think of who may make it An unpopular choice but Darren Bent was immense for us for a season and a half.
Also when it comes to left back can you include Julio in that category as I would love a team with him and magic Johnston in it.
As poor as he is now, would you not have Mignolet as an option for you in this one? He was superb during his time at Sunderland, I don't even know who Perez is, that's largely down to me not being a Sunderland fan probably!
Perez was another one that went to the mags He was also shagging my local barber. So there's one definite gay premier league footballer who never came out. Mignolet was decent mate, but was never class for us really. Just short of making the list I thought. @Dorty Mag
Sir Niall played in goal one tome when Sorenson got injured. Stick him in there. On a side note Mannone saving those pens gave me my best memory as a sunderland fan so will always have a soft spot for him despite his rank averageness.
Tel if I can can remember correctly Perez should be etched in your mind for life......he was in goal when Oh Ah chipped him at Old Trafford.....memory is sh*t these days but I'm sure it was him in goal just watching the ball float over his head....lol
Think he done that for City he might have also done it for us I'm not too sure. He had a stormer for us mind I think it was away to Bradford in our 105 point season but again may be wrong on that one.
