As well as a decent contract. He only offers two years. If he believed that we were building for the long term we should be offering these younger, potentially future stars, a 3 or 4 year contract so they don't go in a years time.

Indeed, and also people don't. Football fans seem to have this idea that all team mates are actual mates. Have you liked everyone you've ever worked with? There's been an absolute **** at every place I've ever worked.

Usually it's me.

 

when players are on the pitch they are all focused on the same goal so I do think they are more likely to get on than in most workplaces
that doesn't mean they will always get on

 

There's usually at least one gay person in each office also. Not sure who it is in my office but it might be the accounts guy. He's a right cutie.
