    My old man raved about him.

    I've mentioned before that we used to hang around his house and play football. That's if Jimmy Montgomery's wife wasn't around at the time otherwise we'd be sitting on his wall waiting for her to turn up, on the other side of the estate <laugh>:emoticon-0152-heart

    Known Jim since we were schoolboys, a few years back now. <laugh>. Remember both Jim and Hurley making their debut's at Roker Park, but the standout's were Cloughie's arrival from Boro, and Bobby Kerr's initial impact before he ran into Norman Hunter.
