<laugh> He's off already. Came over, picked on a typo and had the **** ripped out of him and now he's off. Bless him, this will be him returning to the mag board.

Well you got that one wrong then cos he was never bang average for us - he was excellent in his first season, then horrendous for the next 2. Bang average would have been a monumental improvement on his performances since 2015.

He did the simple things well, was tidy on the ball, but didn't produce anything ever. Offered very little, just all round ineffective. He was never a mistake prone player for us and always played to the best of his limited ability, that's a side your own club has brought out of him cause it wasn't with us. Look closer to home to why that has happened.

We were never miffed he left though, especially on this board. We were quite indifferent while some of you lot were claiming you'd took our best player.

Saying that, one game he did excel in, that was the 3-0 at your place under Poyet. He tore you a new one that day so to an extent it's understandable some of you thought you were getting a cracking player. But he's not.

Well I never thought he was your best player, just a solid and decent player. And that miffed comment was more to do with the hilarious "his departure his left a bitter taste" statement the club released when he left.

We've played him in the wrong position frequently which hasnt helped, ie when Hayden has been injured he's played in a defensive midfield role which he's godawful at, at the end of the season we'd started putting him back in the attacking playmaker role and his performances became much better. But it isnt all down to that, there was a notable lack of effort for a while and he'd fly in recklessly and conceed needless free kicks that cost us points - nowhere more so obviously than away at Blackburn last season, absolutely destroyed them all game, but lost 1-0 cos of Colback needlessly scything down a player right on the edge of the area.

He can't do defence anymore then he can do attack. Did alright at leftback though. He was only ever a bench warmer or back up left back before Poyet came, that backward ****er wanted us playing out from the back so Colback was moved to CM, his claimed natural position, but was mainly flat as fart. 5 yard passes to Ki and left him to do all the playing out. Then there was the 0-3 and he was like a different player, but then back to type.

    You're best getting shot of.

    I don't like little fannies.
I prefer a big, pouting sloppy one.
