Puts Papy at left back, poor decision, but can we keep Lens, he could make all the difference if we do,

Tonights verdict, the outfield is good enough to give us a comfortable season, the defence is a problem, sort this out Simon and we will be fine,

Stop calling the lad, tell him we love him, and he just might be great, who knows, I may be wrong but what have we got to loose. <bubbly>

Mate I'll be happy enough if he still here cos even at 60% he should torment the league.

He's genuinely talented, we know that, his stats for Fener last season and Kiev previous showed it, and we have had glimpses.

I was buzzing when we signed him it's ****ing infuriating how even when we eat it right we somehow get it wrong.

Know exactly how you feel mate, M'Vila was my hero, I would have done anything to keep him at the club, but there you go, its frustrating no doubt about it. <ok>

Well it will be given it was an under 23 fixture. Benno is as thick as ****ing pigshit. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I know a few seniors who missed out Saturday were going to get a game but it was always a second tier match. Going to go have a look how they got on.

Looking at the players used, loads of seniors were involved. What's Benno's problem?

Went over and applauded the fans like a good boy, who knows maybe he wants to stay. We know that players are hugely affected by if they like the manager or not, maybe they like Grayson.

    No not personally.
Does that make any difference to you?
I went to his testimonial and got sloshed with a load of pissed up Rangers fans.

No difference, I'm just a Nosey Bastard. <laugh> Not surprised you enjoyed your night mind, I rate Rangers fans along with Greeks and Jamaicans, as great company, once they suss you out. <ok>

I only listened to the game bye the way, but it sounded like Kone was a lot better too, (until JoS arrived to help him out that is), my take on these so called problem players is that they could, and would be great assets if handled correctly, not sure they have been at SAFC in the past, everyone of them is a different case of course and we can only wait and see. Personally I would be more than happy if Kone, Lens and Khazri were in our first team at the start of the coming season.

I used to go to the pre-season games for a piss up and a bit craic - football was always secondary as the games meant nothing.

Never once have I judged how a team or player is from a few pre-season games so I refuse to do it from this - I remember watching Marco play awful pre season for us then bang more than 20 goals in the following season. My dad said he only ever saw one player play as well in pre season as he did in the main season and that was King Charlie!

I'm starting to think that myself, I did want Kone and Lens gone but I'm coming round to the idea that if Grayson likes them and thinks they fit in then so do I. It'd certainly help us to have premier league quality players in the side as long as they weren't disruptive and if they were Grayson would give them the boot.

Had a great night with them & then read about all the bother the next day.
I never got any trouble, nor did I see any but I know a few lads who did.
The Glasgow lads can be a handful but I get on fine with them.
