Yeah that ain't happening.... He's too high profile now, be too expensive. They never cast someone who is too much of a big name. Although I do agree the next will (should) be a black or Asian man. On Jodie, I like the casting. She's a good actress and it'll be interesting to see her in action. Plus she's not one of those flavour of the month actors the interwebs fawn over.

Here's a funny thought. All the male doctors (bar a couple) have been rather unattractive quirky looking sods. Instead of a quirky unattractive lass they went with a pretty face. I wonder if that irks any of the feminists. Why not pick a quirky looking lady like they usually did with the male doctors.
How utterly ridiculous. The Doctor can't be a woman, not because of anything other than the fact that the Doctor is Male for ****s' sake. Making him a woman is ****ing stupid. We are supposed to believe that Time Lords can be either gender, but that, given a random 50/50 chance, his first 12 lives were all male? The odds of that are about a million to one. It was bad enough they changed the gender of the Master, but now the ****ing Doctor as well. ****ing idiots. Also hilariously hypocritical that the ****ing knobs who have been crying for years about the Doctor always being a man, are now telling people who are annoyed about a female Doctor to grow up and stop crying I wouldn't have cared if it had been a black guy, an asian guy, as long as it was a guy..... These arbitrary changes of characters genders to appease ****ing morons has ruined a TV show that has been around for over 50 years. I don't give a **** how awesome an actor she is (and she is good), but that it, show is done for me.
