It was inevitable that he'd leave, they did well to calm him down after his January hissy fit. I'm questioning Conte's judgement here though if he intends to replace an absolute winner like Costa with Lukaku.
Nah, I'm not surprised Costa is moving. The guy has been a pain in the arse. When he's on it, he's absolutely brilliant. When hes off it, that guy is an absolute liability. After the January debacle, i think Conte wanted to see the season out and get rid. He's getting older and even though he's still a decent players, his injuries have made him less effective than he used to be. Saying that i'm not happy its lukaku who is his replacement. I'm just hoping now that Milan have been taken over by some chinese conglomerate, they are willing to pay over the odds to get him
Pretty much my view on it all. Costa saying the club want rid is a bit laughable when every window he tries to go to Spain or China!
Couldn't give nine ****s what shirt he wears or what he does to be honest, as long as when he is on the pitch for Chelsea, he scores goals.
Probably is to be honest. But when you have had players like John Terry and Dennis Wise wear your armband, a transgression like Costa's pales in comparison. He is an Atletico lad though, always will be. heck Wayne Rooney came out a couple days ago saying he had been wearing Everton pyjama's for the last 13 years he had been at Man United, no different really.
Conte ****ed up alienating Costa imo. Chelsea will miss his snideness. He never gives CB's a minutes peace, when he's not grappling with them over the ball, he's whispering in their ear. He unsettles defences and plays the lone striker role to perfection when he's on his game.
No difference, apart from Costa live streaming it. I couldn't give a **** what Rooney did in private, I hope he got banged unconcious a few more times by Bardsley.
Whilst I agree the "**** off" text from Conte was a bad idea, Costa did start it with his petulance in January. Conte obviously doesnt want people in his squad who will **** around like that. Cannot blame him for that, even if he could have handled it a bit more diplomatically.
