Fair enough. I know people who smoke but their parents never did. It all comes down to making your own choices.

In you all hop, my little sprats!

I see you've all smoked yourselves!

    Just in time for breakfast!

So do I and I also agree about people making their own choices.

A lot of smokers start young though when they're at school and I'd argue at that age they have been influenced rather than made a conscious choice about what they're doing.

I was just highlighting statistics say that people are more likely to smoke if they see their elders doing it.

Fair shout mate. I just think that it's mainly peer pressure which puts kids on the slippery slope. Just my opinion, that's all. <ok>

Vaping always makes me feel ****, 95% of the time I drink without having any cigs/e-cigs but on the odd occasion I'll be that ****ed that I think it's a good idea to get the e-cig out. There's something called 'popcorn lung' and there's never been a more perfect description for how I've felt after having an e-cig.

These kids in their Corsa's 'cloud chasers' I think they're called, never getting a shag.

Far too early to say this with any sense of certainty.

I used to smoke a lot but never really craved it during the day or first thing in the morning or anything, I was always more of a cig with a pint type.

As a result, giving up was piss easy. Sorry about that all you who are struggling.

The smoking ban helped massively, as did shacking up with someone who had never smoked. I just stopped.

I still love a cig when I'm out, going into the smoking area or outside and having a cheeky couple is great when on the piss. Definitely have a worse hangover if I do this though, 100% it is the biggest cause of feeling like utter ****e the morning after.

Enjoy the odd toke on a vape thing but wouldn't buy one as I reckon I'd just do it all the time for the sake of it.

Cannot be certain it is 100% safe,
but I am 100% sure that breathing in vapourised Vegetable Glycerin and fruit flavouring is a damn sight healthier than breathing in Carbon Monoxide and the countless other chemicals they put in Cigarettes.
Most of the scare mongering about vaping has been financed by the tobacco companies who have lost billions since Vaping showed up as an alternative to smoking. There are less people smoking than ever

Tobacco companies don't need to create fear, most of them are big enough to swallow up the e-cig industry if they wanted to continue with a monopoly on smoking. There's probably more money in e-liquids anyway with branding and the e-cigs themselves. Big tobacco companies are paid a pittance for their cigs.

started back in the mid 70's stopped early 2015 been thinking bout it for some time but knew it would be difficult as experience taught me the wife would continue . The difference was i ended up in hospital for 10 days so knew the physical addiction was basically already over. From my previous experiences knew that the physical addiction was easy for me to deal with but i struggled more with the "habit" i.e. whilst doing X i would always light up.
first few weeks at home were tricky and i did light a *** .Luckily i'd found an opened pack which was ancient and used that - **** it was horrible and i stubbed it after 3 drags. After about a month not bothered at all & now never occurs to me.
Wife now given up as well <diva>
now just the drinking to worry about :bandit:

PS i do still have the ancient pack just in case
