He will miss Arsenal's game with Man Utd, along with Gervinho. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...epts-three-match-ban-for-violent-conduct.html
For me Song is the most crucial part of their midfield now, without him they seriously lack any bite in the middle of the park, his work rate alone will be a huge loss for them.
I dunno, he doesn't seem to have much of an impact on most games, although he did a good job on Rooney last season at the Emirates. But you are right that he is the only player who really makes a decent effort to break up opposition attacks - the rest of their midfield just seems to sit back and wait for the opposition to make a mistake.
He doesn't seem to have much of an impact on games, but when you consider the "pretty" footballers he's surrounded with, he really is the crucial bit of bite and determination in their lineup. Don't get me wrong, he's far from the best at that job in the league (he commits far too many needless fouls in dangerous areas) but he's certainly the best at that job out of Arsenal's current midfielders.
who will they play against us then? arshavin, walcott, rosicky, ramsey with rvp and someone hopeless? i can live with that!
Persoanlly I want us to destroy them, 3-0 or something. Overrun them with attack after attack and prove they are now only a top 5 club, not top 3. Plus I have a mate who's an Arsenal fan (And more worrying, a season ticket holder - £1,400 a season for wining nothing haha "WTF") plus I have a £50.00 a game bet with him whenever we play them. Dont normally lose money to him no adays haha
I hope we smash them and show them up for what they really are and have been for years a team with barely any real quality and zero substance, average ****e
