Seems the Italians, French and Germans are still offering realistic prices unlike the crazy English and Spanish. If you want big money for him it will have to be from PL or the top two Spanish teams.
I agree with this. Unfortunately, our ever bigger TV deals have inflated the market to the point of ridiculous. Previously only Utd, City and Chelsea and occasionally ourselves and Arsenal plus the two/three big Spanish teams would pay £30m plus for a player. Now it's every team in the league. Even the relegated teams could probably splash that out. It's ridiculous. The Premier League is killing football in this country. A lot of that money needs to be channelled back into grass roots football to develop English players. Instead, we are making foreign clubs wealthy. Italy will catch up though. Inter have been bought by a billionaire, more will follow. Would love to see the English clubs agree a # of non home grown players rule and also cap the transfer fee. It will never happen of course.
Milan are signing some players this summer. Making real attempt to be one of top teams again. Linked now with loan for Sanches of Bayern with option to buy next season. Barely played at Bayern but standout young player at last years euros for Portugal. Already sign Rodriguez, Calhanoglu, Bonucci, Andre Silva amongst one or two others.
Or has just won the EL or something Weird how some clubs have 2 or 3 great keepers and others have none
Some manager prefer to build from the back, happy with dour football, knowing they'll concede few. Some say f#ck that, let's entertain our fans....
Yes they do. Utd never really entertained, despite their pots....Jose has a bit of work yet imo. A winner, yes. Entertaining? Just no.
I think he entertained quite a few winning those pots Still, with a proper DM and another CB to partner Bailly I expect him to unleash the forwards more and actually beat teams the way we should instead of 0-0 draws or 1-0 wins.
Yup although none of it is crazy money. £16m for Rodriguez, £35m for Bonucci, £19m for Cahanoglu, £30m for Silva. Spent a bit of money but on a few young exciting players and couple more experienced ones. No idea why They wanted Borini but still.
Give over. Dont confuse the elation of winning a couple of pots with the idea that he played good football last year. It was defensive (effective) turgid stuff and you know it. Mourinho has always been defense minded. He won't change....I suspect you will win more...you probably should have last year....but it won't be expansive football.
