Potentially, but they're already signed so would be happy to be part of a higher quality squad. Either way you need to sign players who won't play the majority of games, I just think it would be easier to convince them to join when they believe they have some prospect of being regularly involved.
I've obviously got no idea when he'll return, but as nobody at the club is suggesting he's likely to be involved any time soon, I wouldn't bank on an imminent return.
I didn't even think it likely he'd be back this season so he's already well ahead of that expectation.
He could leave with his head held high and his dignity intact.. I just wish one of the outgoing players aseell as thanking the fans and ignoring thanks to the club would spice it up a little... Tom could have said thanks to all the supporters you dont deserve whats happening to you..
I'd put him in the same basket as Snodgrass last time we were down. Play out the season and help us out after we helped him recover from his injury.
To be fair 2 is 'a number' though So the season is still 'a number of weeks away' As a matter of interest 1 is also a number...so is 0
Aye and been the tightwad I know you are you wouldn't have given him a three year deal on top money as a back up. He's been injured and not first choice for the last two years. It was the right call to let him go.
I can see where your coming from My main point though is the quality of players were linked with recently, 90% are youngsters weve not heard alot of, were shipping out proven top end championship performers and likely replacing them with cheap unproven loan options which is a huge gamble, id love us to sign some established players like kalas but for one reason kr another were struggling to get them over the line, big big two weeks coming up, the next three signings will tell a story
One managers opinion of a player doesnt make it right Neither does mine But my opinion is mcgregors not that good, injury prone and makes bad mistakes no denying it
It might be wishful thinking, but I think better players take longer and this can sometimes come off as inactivity. As Syd pointed out, squad depth players are easier to get in so wouldn't take as long. I fully expect at least two Monday, with more to follow now the Chelsea youngsters are back from the U19s.
Whats your opinion of him? Intrigued now do alot of city fans rate him? I always remember when we went up to the prem alot were crying out for him and huddlestone to be replaced
