Order a Just Eat or Uber Eat or whatever you southerners have I'm going HAM on the chicken pieces, probs do a week's worth of salt in.
I've not had a pint of it, but I have tasted it. This fella I know likes it, I thought it was rank mate. About 10% I think? I like a Henry Westerns Cider - 3 for a fiver in Tescos and they're 8.2%. My go to beer is the old 5.2% Stella. But I do like 6-7% lager if I can find it.
Would be a good shout if I hadn't left my wallet at home I don't mind a Henry Westerns, I always forget how strong they are though and wonder why I'm absolutely sloshed after about 6
Bought a case of that from Makro before I went down to Devon for a couple weeks, love that stuff. Potent ****.
Any beer over 5.5% tastes like Special brew under 5% tastes like Fosters . Had a Wetherspoon breakfast at 11am this morning at the Coronet on Holloway rd and saw they had a cider festival so tried a pint of 6.5% Skippy's scrumpy. No bubbles and very tasty.
Tastes really good for an 8.2% leg wobbler too. Like Libby said, it's easy to get through some and then suddenly think '****'. Talking of leg wobblers, there's always cider festival going on down here and they have this one called 'Leg Wobbler' - really strong, disgusting tbh, loads of **** floating around in it. Blows your head off though, I always have 1 or 2 if it's about!!
Life hack Aldi do Vintage cider 1 ltre bottle £1.59 look at the back and it's made by H Westerns. 7.3%
I've gone off cider a bit recently, tend to flit between that and beer for periods of like 6 months at a time. Peroni & Birra Moretti my drinks of choice currently, well when not on spirits anyway which is what I mainly drink.
Wop beers are good and always in Tesco express. My favourite is Czech Budvar and TsingTao Heineken is a safe bet too Stella is rank now unless you get a belgian import the English made stuff is undrinkable. Cider is good in the summer but it makes me piss constantly and gives me heartburn . Love a proper scrumpy bought in a big plastic tank with a handle. Used to work at Aspall they are head and shoulders above other Cider makers and they give you free bottles after work.
Not only heartburn but I find cider gives me gut rot as well, that's why I end up leaving it alone for months after a time as it ****s me up too much. Aspall is nice yeah, I quite enjoy a fruity cider if I'm out in the sun in 25 degrees+ but again can only drink 2/3 cos it's so acidic. No I bloody don't! Though I suspect you're going to anyway
There's a pub by London Waterloo station that we'd have a few drinks in on a Friday after work. They served a cider that was so strong that we referred to it as Gasoline. 4 pints of that and you were borderline ruined for an evening out with the trouble.
I'll order you a Just Eat mate if you PM me a delivery address. I feel bad for you, man gotta eat chicken.
Cider is OK for one pint but I'm deffo a beer man. Got some Estrella in the fridge going to crack one in a bit.
Haha cheers but I'm alright mate, good things come to those who wait and all that. Just 4 hours until I'm out of this ****hole and then I'm off to the nearest chicken shop to my house that won't give me food poisoning
