That's fair enough. I doubt he'd win but she would give him an amazing tow into the race if he could keep up. If their bollocks about 45mph gallops is right there should be no problem!

Have to admit I got caught up in the Ballydoyle hype for once, wanting him to be a historic sprinter. Hes good but hes not Dayjur good. That said, he did beat the winner last time out and the form book today wont do his ability justice, hopefully he will be seen in a better light next time.

How long will they persist with Beggy on pacemaking duties? He messed up in the Eclipse and has now managed to turn the July Cup into a dawdle. I know they are not allowed pacemakers in Australia but surely he knows they are supposed to make it a true race rather than a false one?

As I usually talk so much rubbish on here I just have to extract a few thoughts I posted on the Darley July Cup (selective of course). Apologies but such a rarity cannot go unnoticed <laugh>

"The one I would have gone for is Brando at 33/1. I'm just worried about the fact that last time out he broke a blood vessel. I would have thought he wouldn't be running if not fully recovered so a small ew bet on him advised just in case. "

"I'm not yet convinced that Caravaggio is better than Harry Angel."

Limato. " I think the best chance he has of winning over 6f is on a stiff track so the uphill finish at Newmarket should be to his advantage. Of course, he won this race last year clocking fast by 0.43s."

"It is going to be very close and I think Caravaggio is going to hard pressed to beat a few of these. His price is far too short and a tempting lay."

I won't mention that I picked The Tin Man to win (ran no race at all)

Gonna have a bit of eziyra in the Irish oaks for a bit of place money. Enable should walk this but not for me at the price and I'd be a bit worried about frankies fitness . Coronet could be the dark horse.

My judgement was that 3yos were a class above the older horses.

I overrated Caravaggio based on 45mph, Mozart Stravinksy talk. I think historically it has paid to listen when Tabor speaks, I value his words more than Obriens.

Hes a better horse than Limato and co despite not being able to show it today. But hes not what I thought and hoped he was, because the true greats overcome things like today, thats the difference between very good and great.

The fact of the matter is Caravaggio won at ascot because Harry Angel got involved in a race upfront to early and had nothing left at the business end different story today. Also you can't keep winning big sprints starting so poorly, if they sort that out he's top draw imo.

Barring Vebal Dexterity and Beckford the two year-olds we've seen to date haven't looked brilliant. I'd put this lad right up there at the the top of the tree. I know it's esy to over rate runs with interference but he's made up the ground in the manor of a horse who'll love a mile.

Bloody hell lads. I'm not DK's biggest fan but f**k me, he only called a race wrong and I'm certain we've all done that - cut him a bit of slack eh?!

He ain't that bad of a judge either and regularly sticks up some juicy priced winners.

Occasionally the internet makes tossers of decent people I guess.

Anyway, on to the fecking jumps yeah - getting bored of all of this flat bollocks <laugh>

I wouldnt disagree with that, think the fillies have looked better than the colts so far but its early days. Hes obviously a decent horse like most in the yard but Ill chuck it if Gustav Klimt wins the Guineas, even overlooking the horrendous name, a Guineas winner wouldnt have got into that kind of trouble against those animals today. Hes beaten Group 3 horses a head and hes never a Group 1 miler imo, admittedly thats based off only seeing him one run today. And Guineas winners usually not screaming out for a trip in July.

For what it's worth I reckon AOB is playing down the sweating. Said it again today "ah no, he always does that". I haven't checked the stats but they seem to be hyping Scat Daddy offspring to feck, do a lot of them sweat? Are they saying don't worry, it's normal with an eye on the breeding shed?

If not and I'm talking bollocks then just ignore me <laugh> anyone got a Triumph Hurdle horse yet?
