    Froome will win the Tour

    When Aru put that time into him a couple of days ago Froome was having an issue with his gearing and cadence so couldn't get the normal revs he likes when climbing

    In 1967 Tom Simpson died on the Tour having taken a load of amphetamines at the start of a big hill climb stage. He was the top British rider in the event at a time when it was legal for the riders to take amphetamines. My father in law was a keen cyclist, but only did time trials. He beat Simpson every time he competed against him, and he was clean. He is 84 now and still mentions it every year when the tour starts. He will not watch any of it as he considers all the riders to be cheats.

    He accepts he would not have done well on the Tour as he was a time trial specialist.

    My Grandson now 9 months old. Wife said as we were visiting my daughter could I pick up a few clothes as presents. Got them one each of the below, my Granddaughter is 2 and a half. Also bought them some less important general clothes as well.
