11/10 one of the best prices of all time? Equal overreaction i'd say.

Tough luck boys. That horse was a horrible price. Never looked like he enjoyed the course and without sounding like a cock but if you'd looked at his form you could see it before hand.

Clive Cox - best trainer of a group one sprinter in Europe by a distance. Wonderful trainer.

Messy pace to be fair, the Godolophin horse was in the right place at the right time. Could see him winning a Grade One at 5f, the jolly probably would want a step up a furlong the other way <doh>

There was something nagging away at me that o'brien said Caravaggio had hardly done anything at home since the commonwealth cup. Maybe a bit of a training fail for once. That said Harry Angel won fair and square and might have Caravaggio's number going forward, was only beaten a length or two in the commonwealth and was produced far too early

I would run Caravaggio in the Nunthorpe, nothing to lose now and the all out 5f would suit him much better.

Interesting chat Boris. Why do you think a flat out 5 would help?

You're having nightmare today Ron. Now mixing up actresses with jockeys <laugh>. Well done with the place shout on Brando though :emoticon-0148-yes:
Clive Cox always comes across as a good un. Pleased for him and Kirby.

To be fair to the race though it's been the only flat race this ardent jumps fan has been arsed about for a couple of years. They must be doing something right.

The gallop in the Nunthorpe will play to his strengths I think, and were he to beat Lady Aurelia he could redeem himself a bit, he has absolutely nothing to gain going up in trip.
