I'm reinvesting a significant proportion of the Laraaib winnings onto Caravaggio. I just think the confidence in the camp indicates that he's every inch the superstar, and that the three year old sprinters are a notch above their elders at this moment in time. I see him taking this from Harry Angel more comfortably than last time. I'll have a crack at the 1-2-3: Caravaggio, Harry Angel, Limato
Hayley Turner just said she wouldn't read too much into the times at Royal Ascot Ron. So there we have it, the Oracle has spoken
Talking about races on different days at a meeting were the clerk of the course artificially changed the track every day. Every race on the Friday was slow, it was the worst ground of the week, Winter was over 2 seconds slower than Barney Roy on the same official going description of gd to firm despite posting the best time of the day against standard. They went sub 2.29 in the Hardwicke on the Saturday, compared to Rare Rhythm 2.31 and Permian 2.30 over the same trip on the Friday.
Yes I saw that, unfortunately, Oddy. What a stupid statement. As if you should read too much into anything
Good point Joe. It was faster on the Saturday, looking at the going stick. I haven't worked out how to factor that in yet
fav for the Guineas never a Group 1 horse terrible renewal of the Superlative and he almost lost it due to lack of tactical speed, one of the biggest overreactions ive seen in my life and thats no exaggeration
Generally speaking I'd expect better value on the National Lottery than betting on sprints. Be interesting to see how good this Caravaggio is though. Small e/w on Tasleet, just so I can watch the race on BF on my phone
FFS how long do we have to put up with Hayley Mills. I'm almost at the point of having to go for the mute button
