I'm not, I might watch it on Sky Sports If they've got rights to the highlights.

    It'll be a **** watch!

FM will run for four rounds, CM will get knackered, FM will knock the **** out of CM for as long as he wishes after that point.

I doubt it will go beyond six rounds.

Everyone will watch it hence it being the biggest ppv fight ever (financially).

    I'll watch but won't pay.

FM should win easily. Saying that CM is more of a warrior, by far. You never know he might do it. FM is 40 and hasn't had a fight in a while. CM moves around the ring far better than any boxer FM has ever fought.

All that makes this quite interesting tbh. It wouldn't be the first time a UFC fighter has beaten a boxer in their first fight, different scale I know but I think CM has a chance. Not a great chance but more than people think.

Anything could happen and let's not get it twisted CM is the best UFC fighter of all time, when everything is considered. 2weight champion in that sport is outrageous.

Yeah it's a circus but I'm looking forward to it.

Have to say I disagree a decent pro boxer beats a ufc guy 9/10 times.

Boxing has become a bit if a farce with regards to how its run etc but in terms of training, hitting and taking punishment its still the most brutal

Ufc/ mma doesn't come close IMO.

Any standard pro boxer would batter McGregor, his counter style will be exposed big time.

Mayweather could never turn down a decent pay day but whoever dreamed up this mis match of the century needs taking into a dark alley and put down.

Should be an exhibition match and is a joke that this will be Mayweathers 50th <doh>

Its something that has somehow spiralled out of control and straight to the bank.

Dana White said something along the lines of it being silly but he couldn't say no yo the money Mac will get

Have to say I don't blame the fighters. Mac would never have seen this kind of money if he stuck with ufc and mayweather gets his 50 and 0

I lost interest a while ago because of this type of ****e tbh. Its all WWE for me and has been for a while. People don't see the behind the scenes stuff though. How many know that kindelan was paid to lose to Khan?

Same weight, no gloves, and anything goes? Basically a tear up?

No chance, half these MMA fighters have far too much arsenal for a fist fight.

Fighters like Anderson Silva could just pound a boxer with kicks, the boxer wouldn't get anywhere near him.

That's why in reality these combat sports shouldn't be mixed. The difference between a boxing match and a UFC fight is too different for them to go with one discipline. Would a pure boxer go into a UFC fight? No chance (although I'm sure you'll find someone has!). Overall UFC is far more brutal, I watch both when I can.

Mate, Jon Jones and Demetrious Johnson are miles better than him, let alone some of the greats from the past. He's definitely the most entertaining and popular fighter but not the best. He's never even defended a belt, both in Cage Warriors and the UFC.

Plus, if he sticks to his word and fights Khabib after the Mayweather fight, it's going to be a terrible night for him. Khabib will rag-doll him worse than what Chad Mendes did before Mendes got tired. And if he don't fight Khabib, he'll have to face Tony Ferguson, who'll probably murder him, too.

Totally different weights though yeah? I agree there's been better, I used to love watching Silva, he was devastating. I think what I meant is the UFC haven't had a superstar before McGregor, he's took it to the next level, and could back up what he keeps spouting!

Yeah he's a couple of dud fights, but he is a seriously good fighter. The way he slithers around the ring is amazing to watch.

Yeah different weights but I thought you meant best of all time as in best fighter in UFC regardless of weight class etc.

No doubt he's a superstar and he's elevated the UFC's popularity ten-fold but I think that's also had it's drawbacks. Some of the UFC's best fighters have now either voiced displeasure or been forced to leave and join Bellator because UFC are only interested in paying big money to popular or good looking people. When Conor leaves the sport I hope UFC goes back to a fighting contest and not a popularity one, because UFC have lost some seriously good fighters over the past 18 months, including my favourite - Gegard Mousasi.

Silva was a different breed, ****ing loved watching him, he was probably the first true mixed martial artist in the sport, there were loads of great boxers/ wrestlers/ jits guys before him but Silva had everything. A shame he had to age, hope retires soon though, not been the same since his leg break.

Sorry mate have to disagree in the main. Ufc/mma are a game compared to boxing at the top level.

Even back in my day, when I was younger, boxers were knocking the crap out of martial art fighters and these were true martial artists not like the ufc/mma guys around today

Sure you get the Gracie or Bruce Lee types who are brilliant but again the amount of boxing they incorporate into their fighting goes missed

For me the fact that a lot of amateur boxers who fail at boxing and go on to ufc says it all
