Yet you're at ease with our owners insulting you. You see, differing principles & values. Mine are constant you alter yours to suit.
I'm seriously teetering, considering giving my notice due to the asset stripping. Although make some decent signings, who knows. Just fear if I chuck it, I won't return.
Yet another saying asset stripping....can you explain how they are asset stripping? Davies and thudd have gone due to contract clauses ( not 100% sure on Davies but sure that's what was reported ) Harry going was always going to happen when we went down. There is no fire sale and no asset stripping
But they have many others. You may be better suited pursuing an individual activity that doesn't involve supporting a team with thousands of others as it would appear you are only interested in yourself.
Far from only interested in myself, I can quite confidently say hull city has probably been a bigger part of my life then most on here, although maybe not for longer! I've not only supported them, I've been through the youth system and also worked for the club for a number of years, along with the fa and various other clubs..... I don't like what the club has become over the last 2yrs, but I also see the good things the allams have done ( not many I know) that arnt easily visible to everyone, their time had been and gone, it's time they moved on and a new broom swept clean. I also recognise the things they have done wrong, a lot if which where posted a few posts back! I just personly don't see the point in getting personal about it, or letting it get to me as so many do on here, I will continue to watch the team no matter what happens of the field and not let of the field issues spoil the match day for me, new owners will no doubt come and those new owners will no doubt make a lot of people happier then the allams, but on the other hand they will also I've no doubt upset some people with things they do it don't do.
Dont talk daft soft lad. Your view is just that, nothing more, and you are entitled to it, but let other fans decide who they want to support.
Wouldn't it been an idea to offer Huddlestone a contract earlier rather then wait until his release clause is triggered
If players have release clauses then there isn't a lot you can do. Where there isn't a release clause, such as in the case of Maguire, it's typically prudent to delay the transfer until a replacement is lined up.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing....last time we went down nobody wanted him, who says he would have signed it? I don't think he's a huge loss to us IF we get decent players in
Unless you haven't noticed. We have a threadbare team and can barely muster a first 11. The prized assets have been sold off not only this season but last. They are replaced with loanees. Put terrible release clauses in contracts that leave us open to selling out best players at a fraction of their actual value. That almost seems like the definition of asset striping. Our policy is mostly to sell assets and replace with loans.
Prized assets sold off...... Harry yes I'll give you that, but sold for decent money and was always going to go! Hudd and Davies are nothing close to a prized asset! Until the window closes those "prized assets" can be replaced.
Supporters are upset, angry and criticising the owners and rightfully so. You stated they haven't offended you yet ignored the impact they have had on many others. I wasn't questioning your support of Hull City just struggling to see why you continue to make excuses for the owners.
So clubs don't let players leave until they've sorted replacements? Seems reasonable. Presumably no-one told Ehab.
