It's obvious they have mutual respect for each other but CM's only option is to get in FMJ's head.

Does anybody seriously think Floyd can hurt McGregor any more than Nate Diaz did? There's no chance, it's a no-lose contest for Mac. It's massive money for getting in the ring with somebody who probably won't hurt him very much.

From what I've seen of CM he has no defence other than throw his face into the oncoming gloves. How he got the decision over Nate was puzzling but Mayweather will never earn easier money than this ever again.

I think the win over Nate was pretty comfortable, in fairness. Rounds 1, 2 and 4 he won easy. Yeah he seemed to be running and Nate took the fight to him, but 170 was not CM's natural weight and he you could see he was gassing, he done what he had to do in my eyes.

These are both counter punchers, in theory it's going to be boring as **** with both fighters standing off each other.

I'm afraid CM has no hope or Bob Hope and Bob's out of town.

That's nothing, wait till it gets closer. McGregor will up his game in the press, guys a lunatic. He's done some funny ass things in press conferences before.

I actually like McGregor, guys ****ing mental. Hope he kicks the **** out of the most boring boxer of my generation - he won't though!

McGregor is like a snake in the ring his movement is very bizarre. He studies body movement. The problem is he can't have that type of stance in a boxing ring, he stays low then unloads a roundhouse or a flying knee. Now he's fists only.

    This is simple really.

In a Boxing ring Mayweather wins.
In the Octagon McGregor probably ends Mayweather life.

UFC is brutal compared to boxing.

When Connor knocked out the so called 'best UFC fighter' in 13 seconds <laugh> That was funny.

He's a proper pisstaker, love it!

Something about UFC prevents me totally respecting it...once the bloke is knocked out I don't get the point in pounding his face and head silly...that's not 'sport'

Wanna watch a beat up and you cant get better...but in real life someone landing low blow's usually gets zero respect..that's where i'm stuck with UFC at the moment.

I never used to like UFC but much prefer it to boxing now...It's also the fastest growing combat sport.

You have to be hard as **** to be a UFC fighter, boxers can get away without being hard as **** if their defense is good enough.

I agree though at times it goes over the top with brutality, very dangerous sport. I guess that's the reason people enjoy watching it. It brings out the gladiator in is!

It's a circus, Math. They're going around the world insulting each other purely for the purpose of trying to rake up as much interest as possible in their tawdry little battle.

Best way to do that is to try and convince the sort of idiots who buy into this sort of thing that they genuinely hate each other.

There just trying to make more money, that's all.

There's no way I'm paying for the fight, especially for the price I heard on Talksport as well, It'll be like Leicester winning the league 2 seasons ago if Conor Mcgregor beats Floyd Mayweather in my opinion.

This is a circus side show. It's akin to a pikey bare knuckle fighter getting in the ring with a boxing World Champion. McGregor has nothing more than a punchers chance, but he's fighting a guy who barely gets hit. He'll get completely schooled in there. The fight is being sold on PPV in the US at $99 <yikes> Get to **** lol

If it turns into a genuine fight, the only chance Mcgregor has got is a 'puncher's chance'. Everybody has a puncher's chance. You throw the punch just at the right moment, hit exactly the right spot with the right momentum, and down they go. 999/1000 pure luck. But everybody's got that chance.

Otherwise Mayweather will cut him to pieces.
